Making Menu Changes in the POS

In POSbiz you can easily to make changes to menu items from within the POS.
This is useful for updating the daily scone flavour, or adjusting the Fish of the Day price
You are able to update the Price, Item Name and the Item Availability from the Menu Manager in the POS.

To access the Menu Manager you must start in POS and then select System then Menu Manager.
You can change between menus by clicking the Menu name in the top left corner, and navigate through the menu similar to when ordering.

Change the Price

1) Find the item you need to change the price on.
2) Select the Size.
3) Select the Price field.
4) Enter the new price.
5) Press ok.

Note: This updates only the first price level of the item. Other price levels (such as the second price level used for happy hour) are updated using POSbiz Office.

If you need to change the price on the other size then repeat for this, otherwise click OK to return to the menu.
Once finished making changes click Close to exit the Menu Manager.



Change the Item Name

1) Find the item to change its name.
2) Click on Rename.
3) Enter the new name for the item.
4) Click OK.

If you need to change the Name on any other items, repeat the steps.
Once finished making changes click Close to exit the Menu Manager.
